Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Al-Khateeb, our college organized a scientific visit to the headquarters of Al-Mansour Pharmaceutical Industries Company\u2013in Abu Ghraib, Baghdad on Thursday, 10\/4\/2025. The visit was attended by a number of faculty members and master’s students of the Pharmaceutics department, with the aim of enhancing scientific and professional cooperation and gaining insight into modern technologies and advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing methods and how to apply manufacturing quality standards as part of the requirements of the master’s study. The visit began with a warm reception by the management of Al-Mansour Company and included a detailed tour of the various sections of the factory, including production lines (solid and liquid dosage form), quality control units, and quality assurance laboratories. The company experts provided a full explanation of the stages of sterilization, the steps to be taken before entering the laboratory by workers and visitors, the stages of manufacturing and the advantages of a good pharmaceutical factory to be in accordance with specifications of GMP. During the visit, a scientific discussion session was held between professors and students on one side and the company’s experts on the other to discuss opportunities for future cooperation in the fields of research, training and exchange of scientific and applied experiences. At the end of the visit, the participants expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the management of Al-Mansour Pharmaceutical Industries Company for their warm reception and excellent organization. They emphasized the importance of such visits in strengthening the links between academic and industrial institutions and their role in advancing the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Iraq.<\/span><\/p>\n
