The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmad H. Kathem AlKhateeb, participated as the keynote speaker at the 5th International Pharmacy Sciences Conference (IPSC 2025), organized by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in Northern Cyprus, on May 14, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the conference, the Dean delivered a lecture titled \u201cPrimary Cilium as a Dynamic and Diverse Signaling Hub\u201d. The lecture highlighted the scientific advancements in understanding the mechanisms of cilia formation, their functions, and signaling pathways within the cell, as well as the challenges faced by researchers in this field and explored the potential of leveraging these insights in treating related diseases.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participation of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy in this conference reaffirms the college\u2019s commitment to promoting international academic collaboration and contributing to the advancement of scientific research in pharmaceutical sciences.
