Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, a memorial session was held to honor the academic journey and humanitarian values of the late PhD student in the Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, Specialist Pharmacist Hussein Kamel.<\/span><\/p>\n

The session opened with a speech by the Dean, who reviewed the late student\u2019s academic path and his well-known perseverance and dedication, affirming the College\u2019s pride in him. This was preceded by a symbolic introduction delivered by the Head of the Media and Government Communication Unit in the College, Lecturer Mais Fadhel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following that, the Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Kadhem Alkinani, delivered a speech in which he highlighted the clear mark left by the late student among his colleagues and students, as well as his remarkable commitment and active presence throughout his academic career.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the session, a short film was screened, portraying scenes from his professional and humanitarian life. Several attendees then spoke, including Professor Dr. Enas Jawad Kadhim, his MSc supervisor, who expressed her pride in witnessing his diligence and the spirit of a true researcher from his earliest steps.<\/span><\/p>\n

The words concluded with a tribute by Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Haseeb Khamees, his PhD supervisor, who emphasized his passion for scientific research and his constant pursuit of leaving a positive impact through his efforts and ethics.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the session, the Dean presented a memorial shield to the family of the late student as a token of loyalty and appreciation for a journey that will remain alive in the memory of the college and in the hearts of his colleagues. It was a deeply symbolic moment, reflecting profound loyalty and affirming that his memory will live on, while his scientific and humanitarian contributions will continue to stand as a testament to his great dedication.<\/span><\/p>\n

We pray to Almighty Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy and grant him eternal peace in His gardens.<\/span><\/p>\n
