Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Kadhem Al-Kinani, faculty member at the Pharmaceutics Department, represented our College and Iraq at one of the world\u2019s leading conferences specialized in biopharmaceuticals, held in Basel, Switzerland, from September 30 to October 2, 2025, upon a direct invitation from the conference organizers.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Under the theme \u201cBridging Science and Medicines Policy,\u201d Dr. Al-Kinani delivered an important scientific lecture addressing the vital link between advanced scientific discoveries and pharmaceutical policy-making that impacts patients\u2019 lives worldwide.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He also chaired and moderated a high-level panel discussion focusing on the latest developments in biosimilar medicines, with particular emphasis on the requirements of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which mark a significant step forward in this rapidly evolving field.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This participation went beyond mere attendance \u2014 it reflected the pioneering role of the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, in contributing to global discussions that shape the future of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. It also demonstrated the capability of Iraqi scholars to compete internationally and make their voices heard in the world\u2019s most prestigious scientific forums.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
