Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Dean of the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy, attended the regular meeting of the Committee of Pharmacy Deans, which was held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Mustansiriyah University, under the patronage of the Chairman of the Committee of Pharmacy Deans in Iraq, Prof. Dr. Munther Faisal Mahdi.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting discussed the general frameworks for developing academic curricula in line with modern educational standards and the needs of the pharmaceutical job market. This step aims to enhance the quality of pharmacy education in Iraq and to unify the scientific and practical foundations adopted in teaching pharmaceutical sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations focused on strengthening institutional and academic integration among Iraqi colleges of pharmacy, ensuring the advancement of pharmacy education, and preparing graduates equipped with strong knowledge, skills, and professional conduct to effectively serve the healthcare sector in Iraq.<\/span><\/p>\n
