Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy held an in-person workshop entitled \u201cBasics in pharmaceutical promotion”\u00a0delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Majid Hameed, a faculty member at the Clinical pharmacy Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to introduce the students to the fundamentals of the pharmaceutical market in Iraq.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop included several topics, including Pharmaceutical companies, job titles, global market access, the fundamentals of a medical representative’s work in pharmaceutical promotion, and work ethics in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop concluded that the importance of this field in the work of pharmacists, as it is one of the most important areas of pharmaceutical work for pharmacists after graduation, will be further explored through several consecutive workshops throughout the year.<\/span><\/p>\n
