Kathem Alkhateeb, the Continuous Education Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy held an in-person workshop entitled \u201cHybrid molecules for drug development,&#8221; delivered by Assistant Lecturer Yasser Falih Muhsin, a faculty member at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The workshop aimed to improve treatment efficacy and reduce inhibitory concentration, while enhancing drug pharmacokinetics in terms of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination. Also, it sought to simplify therapy, improve patient adherence, and reduce drug interactions.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The workshop included several key topics, including the focus on the principle of hybrid molecules and their role in developing modern pharmaceutical treatments, as well as their benefits in improving therapeutic efficacy and reducing side effects.
