The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Pharmacy \/ University of Baghdad received the Committee for Monitoring Guidance Units at the University of Baghdad during a visit aimed at following up on the current state of counseling work and reviewing the programs and activities provided by the unit to support students psychologically and educationally, thereby contributing to the enhancement of a positive university environment, on 10\/5\/2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

The visit included discussions on mechanisms for developing counseling and awareness services, as well as reviewing plans and programs aimed at promoting students\u2019 mental health. Also , it \u00a0emphasized strengthening effective communication between students and academic and administrative staff, which helps achieve psychological and academic stability. In addition, the visit highlighted the importance of the role played by counseling units in spreading psychological and educational awareness and addressing problems that students may encounter during their academic journey, thereby enhancing their ability to adapt and succeed within the university environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This visit comes within the framework of continuous efforts to activate the role of counseling units within educational institutions, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 related to good health and well-being, and Goal 4 related to quality education, through providing a safe and supportive learning environment that contributes to the development of students\u2019 personalities and the enhancement of their academic and social success.<\/span><\/p>\n
