Under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum AlKhateeb, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy-University of Baghdad\u2026.\u00a0The continuing education unit established a workshop under the title (Misuse of vitamins and minerals) that was given by Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Suhail Nassir, a faculty member in the pharmacognosy department.\u00a0The lecture provided an overview of vitamins and minerals, the fundamental substances the body requires. The lecture also describes the distinctions between the diseases that are caused by a deficiency or overuse of vitamins. In addition, the most frequent incorrect uses of vitamins and minerals were detailed, along with some recommendations and suggestions for avoiding these incorrect uses.<\/span><\/p>\n
