Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Hashim Al-Khatib, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of \u00a0Pharmacy \/ University of Baghdad held a scientific seminar delivered by the Ph.D. candidate Haneen Subhi Shaheed – PhD student in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Branch on the levels of carnosine. This enzyme manufactures carnosine, enzymes that degrade carnosine in serum Blood for a sample of type 2 diabetic patients with cardiovascular disease.\u00a0The workshop aims to summarize the doctoral study of the researcher, which emphasized the importance of carnosine, the enzyme that manufactures carnosine, and the digestive enzymes of carnosine in cardiovascular diseases resulting from complications of type 2 diabetes.\u00a0The lecture included various topics, such as an introduction to the vital and functional importance of carnosine within the human body and its importance in preventing complications from diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n
