Kathem Alkhateeb, the Continues Education Unit at the University of Baghdad\/ College of Pharmacy, held an in-person workshop \u00a0entitled &#8221; Surface Tension Analysis in Pharmaceuticals: Measurement &amp; Applications,&#8221;\u00a0delivered by Lecturer Diyar Jabbar Hasan Assistant Lecturer , a faculty member at the \u00a0Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The workshop aimed to clarify the basic principles of surface tension and explain its direct effect on the stability of pharmaceutical dosage forms, while highlighting its importance in improving the quality and effectiveness of pharmaceutical preparations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">The workshop included several key topics including: explaining the fundamental concepts of surface tension and its significance in the pharmaceutical field, reviewing its impact on the stability of various dosage forms, the techniques used to measure surface tension, including the capillary rise method, and addressed the drop weight method as one of the practical measurement approaches.
