Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Hashem Al-Khatib, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy \/ University of Baghdad held a scientific seminar delivered by Assistant professor Fadia Thamir Ahmed \/ Clinical Pharmacy Department .The workshop aims to introduce this important type of drugs since the orphan drug is a pharmaceutical substance developed specially to treat rare diseases which are referred to as Orphan diseases.The lecture included various axes, , such as an introduction about the orphan drugs with examples on them and the diseases they used to treat, in addition to the world regulations for their design, manufacturing and sales of these drugs.<\/span><\/p>\n
