Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb met with the faculty members in the presence of the dean\u2019s associates and the heads of scientific departments. On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, he began the meeting with words of welcome and praise for the efforts of members at all levels, and then he started rolling out the hubs of the meeting, which included:\u00a0 1. Final examinations for the second semester, criteria for setting questions, levels, evaluation process, and objectives .2) observations during examinations and their performance. 3) Scientific publication to improve the classification and upgrading of our university . 4) The faculty member should review his quotes, see his h-index, seek to raise it, and promise to honor the professors who have the highest quotes in many ways, including placing high-quote professors’ photographs on the walls of their scientific departments.\u00a0 5) The educational process and ways to upgrade it, the need to modernize and develop the means of education, familiarize itself with the theory of learning and its tools, keep up with the latest educational methods, and the need to take advantage of modern technology with all its potential to upgrade the educational process, mentioning examples of these tools. 6) The student response system will be applied. <\/span>In the next academic year, teaching workshops will be held to train teachers to use it in a way that achieves its objectives. 7) The assessment exam and everything related to it.\u00a0 8) Continued follow-up with postgraduate students on the importance of exercising the educational role of faculty members in parallel with their academic role . 9) The importance of exercising the educational role of teachers with students in parallel with their academic role and achieving the desired goal of each subject in scientific terms, behaviors, and skills Mr. Dean also heard teachers’ problems, suggestions, and inquiries through an open debate. On the sidelines of the meeting, the teaching staff took advantage of the opportunity to be with Mr. Dean in this gathering to honor him and express their happiness for renewing his assignment for another period as dean of the college. They offered a tribute shield and a bouquet of flowers, and in turn, he thanked them for this initiative, saying that without their help and support, he could not achieve these achievements. He concludes the meeting with the expectation of more of them and the belief that they have high academic potential and a great ability to give, and that through the continuation of joint work they will achieve more.<\/span><\/p>\n
