Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum AlKhateeb, the Division of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation in the College of Pharmacy\/University of Baghdad, organized a workshop on quality standards in the laboratories of the Ministry of Higher Education, presented by associate professor Dr. Lama Hassan Alwan, chair of the Accreditation Division in the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Baghdad. During the workshop, the most important amendments in the latest edition of the guidelines for the quality of the Ministry of Education\u2019s laboratories were presented, including the basis of classification and coding of the Ministry\u2019s laboratories, the technical requirements for laboratories, and the emphasis on laboratory safety requirements and documentation procedures required in the work of laboratories. The workshop aimed to deepen the concepts of quality assurance in order to implement the policy and vision of the Ministry and the University for improving educational and research laboratories.<\/span><\/p>\n
