Kathum Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit in the College of the Pharmacy\/University of Baghdad, held an in-person scientific workshop delivered by Lecturer Dr. Lubna Sabri and Assistant Professor Omar Saeb, faculty members in the Pharmaceutics Department, on &#8220;How to choose and publish in scientific journals indexed in Scopus or Clarivate.&#8221;\u00a0The workshop aimed to understand how a researcher could select and publish research in scientific journals indexed in reputable databases like Scopus and Clarivate (Web of Science). It is a critical process for researchers seeking broad visibility and academic recognition.\u00a0The workshop involved the discussion of many criteria, such as cite score, H-index, impact factor, peer review process, and relevance to the research topic. The workshop covered aspects like adherence to journal guidelines, proper structuring, and the significance of clear and concise language.
