A faculty member at the Clinical Pharmacy Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Fadia Thamir Ahmed, received two appreciation certificates from Professor Dr. Muneer Al-Saadi, the university rector, for her efforts and publication of two research projects with researchers from the University of Baghdad in journals within the Scopus and Clarivate Analytics.\u00a0The appreciation certificates were for the article entitled \u201cIntegrin alpha-4 gene polymorphism in relation to natalizumab response in multiple sclerosis patients\u201d in the Neurology Asia journal and the publisher, \u201cASEAN Neurological Association.”\u00a0And the article entitled \u201cCorrelation between Integrin Alpha-4 Gene Polymorphisms and Failure to Respond to Natalizumab Therapy in Iraqi Multiple Sclerosis Patients\u201d in Farmacia journal and the publisher \u201cThe Romanian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences.”<\/span><\/p>\n
