Another exceptional achievement added to the series of accomplishments achieved by the University of Baghdad is that the university secured first place in Iraq in the transparency ranking issued by the Spanish Scientific Research Council for the best universities in the world based on citations in the accounts of the faculty on Google Scholar. The names of researchers from the University of Baghdad, who are among the top 310 researchers in Google Scholar, were announced, including a constellation of the faculty members at the College of Pharmacy. The university achieved a growth rate in citations of 18.97% over 6 months, according to this prestigious ranking. The university’s continuous monitoring of faculty accounts and the percentage of cited documents contributed to this achievement, along with the exclusion of research not attributed to the university. A total of 59 Iraqi universities out of 122 passed the transparency test conducted by the Spanish Scientific Research Council.<\/span><\/p>\n
