Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person workshop on the basics of pharmaceutical promotion and success in job interviews on Sunday, February 25, 2024, presented by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Majid Hameed, a faculty member at the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and our guest pharmacist Ahmed Jalil, sales manager at one of the important pharmaceutical companies. The workshop is part of a series of seminars to be held in cooperation with the Shubber Scientific Bureau about the basics of pharmaceutical promotion. The workshop included several topics, such as the role of scientific bureaus in introducing important medicines into the country from the most reputable pharmaceutical companies and delivering safe and effective treatment options to the patients who need them. Some of the basic structures of the companies in general and the role of the pharmacist in the company divisions have also been explained. The process of ethical pharmaceutical promotion and the effective role of the pharmacist in this profession have also been explained, as well as the most important points for success in a job interview for new graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n
