Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Clinical Pharmacy Department, in cooperation with the Supporting Committee for Volunteer Work at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy and the Master student in the department, Mayada Qasim, and under the direct supervision of the Medical City, organized an awareness campaign for patients about the safe handling of oral chemotherapy drugs, in which stage 4 Pharm-D students conducted an educational awareness campaign at the Center for Hematology in the Medical City on the safe handling of oral chemical drugs for patients using this type of medication on Sunday, 3-3-2024. The campaign included students distributing awareness brochures to patients and their relatives, and students explaining the contents of the leaflet (safe handling, safe handling, safe storage, and safe disposal) in a simplified manner for each patient to ensure the safety of patients and their families. \u00a0These awareness campaigns are based on belief in the college’s mission, the importance of its role in the service of society, and the aim of communicating information to its beneficiaries. The campaign received the satisfaction and encouragement of patients and their relatives, as well as the Center’s <\/span><\/p>\n
