Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Munaf Hashim Abdulrazzaq, the Clinical Pharmacy Department conducted the first Objective Structured Clinical Examination for third-year Pharm-D students (OSCE) as part of the Community Pharmacy course. The exam included each student rotating through six stations, testing their ability to handle different cases related to cough, diarrhea, constipation, and irritable bowel syndrome within a specified time frame. Each station was staffed by a clinical pharmacy faculty member serving as the assessor, along with a fifth-year Pharm-D student trained to play the role of the standardized patient. This exam is part of the college’s plan to conduct a series of such assessments for various stages and lessons.<\/span><\/p>\n
