Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person scientific seminar on \u201cMounjaro and Ozempic in Morbidly Obese Diabetic Patients,\u201d delivered by Duaa Raad Sadeq, the MSc student in the Clinical Pharmacy Department. The seminar aimed to raise knowledge regarding the importance of weight loss to minimize the complications of diabetes and the right selection of antidiabetic drugs to help in weight reduction. The lecture included various topics, including the definition of diabetes and obesity, the relationship between diabetes and obesity, the rule of Mounjaro and Ozempic in this regard, and a comparison between these two drugs.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
