Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, and within the college plan for extracurricular activities, a group of third-year students, under the direct supervision of a group of faculty members at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, organized an awareness campaign about the problems and diseases of the thyroid gland on the Bab Al-Moadham College campus for the period from March 11\u201312, 2024. The campaign included raising awareness of the importance and function of the thyroid gland, as well as its most important problems, causes, treatment, and methods of detection, in addition to foods that can be eaten and foods that should be avoided according to the medical condition. The students showed great interaction, interest, and desire to carry out such activities that help spread health awareness among citizens. Recipients have also shown their response through discussion and asking questions of the students, and they expressed their thanks and appreciation for such awareness-raising activities.<\/span><\/p>\n
