{"id":61,"date":"2022-08-24T06:41:44","date_gmt":"2022-08-24T06:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.copharm.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=61"},"modified":"2022-08-26T23:23:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-26T23:23:00","slug":"the-faculty-of-pharmacy-discusses-the-design-molecular-docking-synthesis-antimicrobial-and-antioxidant-studies-of-some-new-1234-tetrahydropyrmidine-silver-nano-particle-derivatives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.copharm.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=61","title":{"rendered":"Discusses the some of new 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrmidine Silver nano-particle derivatives"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Faculty of Pharmacy, discussed the Ph.D. thesis tagged (Design, Molecular Docking, Synthesis, antimicrobial and antioxidant studies of some new 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrmidine Silver nano-particle derivatives) for the student in the Pharmaceutical chemistry Department, Ali Majeed Hantoush .The thesis aimed to synthesize a novel series of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) of 1,2,3,4 tetrahydropyrimidine derivatives.\u00a0The thesis included that Microbial pathogens, such as bacteria, are the primary cause of potentially fatal infectious diseases. Bacterial pathogens have evolved a number of techniques to overcome the inhibitory and bactericidal effects of antimicrobial medicines. Current antibacterial treatments have grown less effective, if not ineffective, as a result of resistance development.\u00a0Recently, several approaches to addressing antibiotic resistance have been presented. One potential way of achieving this aim is to combine additional molecules like AgNPs with antibiotics or organic compounds, which appear to restore proper antibacterial action. All these new compounds gave spectroscopic data in accordance with the proposed structures. The antimicrobial activity was tested against pathogenic bacteria and C.albicans using an agar well diffusion assay.
