Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person scientific seminar on “Medication Adherence,” delivered by Pharmacist Marwa Salman, the MSc student at the Clinical Pharmacy Department. The seminar aimed to emphasize the importance of medication adherence and discuss strategies to improve patient adherence and the roles of health care providers. The scientific seminar included various topics, such as understanding barriers to adherence and demonstrating the importance of patients’ commitment to treatment and its impact on the health of the population, as this impact is much greater than any improvement that may occur in medical treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
