Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, a meeting was held with the managers of the educational laboratories in the college and the technical staff on Wednesday, 18 September 2024. The meeting was attended by Dr. Kawther Khalid Ahmed, Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division. The meeting began by welcoming the academic and technical staff of the laboratories. The main points discussed in the meeting included: laboratory safety requirements during work for students, lecturers and technicians in the laboratory, appropriate maintenance of laboratory records, the necessity of informing laboratory staff and students of the locations of laboratory safety equipment and emergency exits, safe and proper disposal of chemical waste and periodic visits by the Laboratory Quality Unit to identify the most important needs of laboratory staff to ensure smooth and safe work. The meeting ended with praise for the efforts of the academic and technical staff of the educational laboratories in the college, wishing them a prosperous academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n
