Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, and in line with the advancements in electronic and virtual education and the growing need for them in enhancing the teaching and training process for students due to the increasing number of students, and in order to maximize the benefits of the training period, the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad, has successfully implemented the use of the virtual pharmacy program Mydispense<\/strong>, which is affiliated with Monash University in Australia. A special committee was formed to oversee the implementation of the program. The committee, chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Samer Imad Mohammed, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, worked officially with the Australian university to obtain the licensing for the use of the virtual pharmacy. Through collaboration with the Computer Center and website division at the University of Baghdad, the college was able to obtain full authorization to use the program. The program is now being utilized in the Clinical Pharmacy Lab for fourth-year students as well as in the summer training for third- and fourth-year students. This initiative plays a significant role in enhancing the training process and developing students’ practical skills during their training period.<\/span><\/p>\n
