The College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad hosted trainee pharmacists as part of the “Building the Capacities of Industrial Pharmacists” initiative, sponsored by the Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacists . This hosting is an essential part of the institutional cooperation between our college and the syndicate, aiming to support the graduates of pharmacy schools and prepare them to be leaders in various fields, including the pharmaceutical industry. This initiative seeks to keep up with the advancements in this industry within the country and provide national pharmaceutical factories with trained and specialized pharmacists.\u00a0<\/span>Today’s lectures covered a range of concepts related to the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on good manufacturing practices, including “process control and linking control between the product and the process,” which was presented by the esteemed Dr. Amani Mohamed Abdul Wahab, an expert in the pharmaceutical industry from the Arab Republic of Egypt. Additionally, Associate Professor Dr. Khaled Kathem Al-Kinani gave a lecture on how to conduct stability studies and calculate the shelf life of pharmaceutical products, along with the global guidelines and concepts that govern this field.<\/span><\/p>\n
