Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, a scientific activity was held on Monday, 10\/28\/2024, entitled \u201cScience Club for Detecting the Types of Carbohydrates,” <\/strong>organized by a group of third-stage students under the supervision of a group of faculty members from the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department. The activity included a visit to Morocco High School for Distinguished Students to conduct scientific experiments for detection of the types of carbohydrates. High school students were given amazing opportunities through the Science Club. They were able to work using real university laboratory equipment from the College of Pharmacy. Our college students participated in small groups with high school students to perform six scientific experiments to detect types of carbohydrates. During the visit, some incentive gifts were also distributed to high school students.The faculty members who participated in this activity were: Prof. Dr. Shatha Hussein Ali, Lecturer Dr. Shaymaa Abdul Zahra, Lecturer Dr. Sinaa Sadiq, Lecturer Dr. Amna Ali Abd and Lecturer\u00a0 Iman Sadiq<\/span><\/p>\n
