Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held an in-person workshop entitled “How to Adapt to University Life”, which was delivered by Assistant Professor Taghreed Nizamuddin Omar, faculty member in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. <\/strong>The workshop included an introduction to the importance of the first year in university and how to adapt to university life at its various levels. It also presented the necessary steps, key points, and advice to help with this adaptation. Additionally, it addressed how to combat laziness, procrastination, challenges, and difficulties, and how to overcome these obstacles. The main steps for applying the correct scientific study method, known as SQ3R, were also reviewed, along with how to benefit from it by applying it correctly. The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of proper guidance toward acceptable behaviors for university students and the importance of continued academic excellence.<\/span><\/p>\n
