The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, received the Director of the University of Baghdad Museum, Dr. Haider Hameed Rasheed, to review the progress of setting up a museum within the college to house its collections and heritage. This initiative comes under the guidance of the Dean, as part of a plan to preserve, document, and showcase the college\u2019s heritage to its students and visitors, as well as to highlight the college’s rich history. Establishing museums in general is of great significance, as they serve as cultural centers, and visiting them benefits the public by enriching their taste and knowledge of their roots. In academic institutions, museums play a special role in introducing their history, providing information about their founders, and enhancing students’ cultural connection to their heritage and field of study.<\/span><\/p>\n
