Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Continuing Education Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person course entitled \u201cBasics of UV light and its applications\u201d delivered by assistant professor Taghreed Nizamuddin Omar, lecturer Dr. Sara Sattar Jabbar, and lecturer Azhar Mahdi Jassim, faculty members in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department. The three-day course included explaining the basis of the UV-Visible spectroscopy technique and how to utilize this technique in the pharmaceutical field with the presentation of its applications on a group of medicines and was a theoretical and practical application. The most important difficulties and the mechanism of finding solutions and how to use UV-Visible spectroscopy to estimate the stability and degradation rate of pharmaceuticals at different temperatures and pH.<\/span><\/p>\n
