Under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum AlKhateeb, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy-University of Baghdad\u2026.The continuing education unit, in collaboration with the Ibn Sina unit at the College, established an electronic workshop under the title \u201cHow to conduct Qualitative Research?\u201d that was given by lecturer Dr. Ali Azeez Ali and lecturer Dr. Basma Zuheir Muhammed Naji, faculty members in the Clinical Pharmacy Department.There is a wide spread of the use of qualitative research methods in the healthcare sector due to their important role in exploring the views of healthcare stakeholders, be they healthcare workers or patients, with the aim of improving the healthcare sector.\u00a0The workshop discussed the definition of qualitative research and the main differences compared to quantitative research, as well as the methods used for data collection and sample size estimation. The workshop also discussed qualitative data analysis as it differs completely from the usual statistical analysis used in quantitative research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
