Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affair Unit at the University of Baghdad\/College of Pharmacy, held an in-person workshop entitled \u201cMicrovibration, a Type of Environmental Toxicity,\u201d delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Faris Hassan, a faculty member at the Pharmacology and Toxicology Department.The workshop aimed to explore the concept of microvibration and investigate its effects on human health, with a particular focus on its impact on brain function.The workshop included several topics, including a detailed and scientific explanation of the concept of microvibration to ensure a clear understanding. It also examined the overall health impacts of microvibration on humans, with a particular emphasis on its effects on brain function. Additionally, the workshop explored both the potential therapeutic applications of controlled microvibration and the adverse effects associated with prolonged or uncontrolled exposure. The workshop concluded that it emphasized the importance of minimizing exposure to microvibration as a preventive measure to mitigate their harmful effects on human health, thereby highlighting the need for continued research into both the underlying mechanisms and effective protective strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n
