Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the University of Baghdad/ College of Pharmacy, held a discussion session entitled “Butterfly Skin Disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Aisha Muthana, PhD student at the Clinical Pharmacy Department.The discussion session aimed to define this disease. it is included several topics like determining the etiology and pathophysiology of epidermolysis bullosa, identify the cutaneous and extra-cutaneous features of epidermolysis bullosa, improve the management of epidermolysis bullosa and its extra cutaneous manifestations, understand how this can contribute to reducing complications and illustrate the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in promoting holistic care of epidermolysis bullosa patients, particularly in pain management and issues of self-esteem.
