As part of the “Study in Iraq” project launched by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry announces the opening of applications for the “Study in Iraq” Scholarship Program for the academic year 2025–2026.
The program offers funded scholarships that include: (Accommodation, Entry visa to the Republic of Iraq , Residency permit , Health insurance fees). The scholarships are available for undergraduate studies at Iraqi universities across all academic disciplines. The Scholarship Committee will review and evaluate all applications based on several criteria, including: The applicant’s academic qualifications and achievements, Language proficiency level , Requirements of the selected academic program . The committee may also contact applicants to schedule an online interview to discuss additional information and details related to their applications.
Bachelor of Pharmacy Program :
The College awards the Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy upon successful completion of the prescribed curriculum over a period of five academic years. The College follows a semester-based system consisting of two semesters: First semester examinations are held in January , Second semester examinations are held in June . The minimum passing grade for undergraduate studies is 50%. In addition, students are required to attend the prescribed lectures throughout the academic year in order to be eligible to sit for the final examinations.
Admission Regulations and Requirements (Bachelor’s Degree):
- The applicant must meet the minimum admission average required by the university and the college they wish to enroll in, in accordance with the choices listed in the application form. The minimum required average for admission to the College of Pharmacy is 85%.
- Applicants seeking admission to institute diploma programs after secondary school are exempt from the minimum average requirement.
- The applicant’s age must not exceed 25 years for admission to medical-related disciplines.
