The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmad H. Kathem AlKhateeb, participated as the keynote speaker at the 5th International Pharmacy Sciences Conference (IPSC 2025), organized by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in Northern Cyprus, on May 14, 2025.

During the conference, the Dean delivered a lecture titled “Primary Cilium as a Dynamic and Diverse Signaling Hub”. The lecture highlighted the scientific advancements in understanding the mechanisms of cilia formation, their functions, and signaling pathways within the cell, as well as the challenges faced by researchers in this field and explored the potential of leveraging these insights in treating related diseases.
