The College of Pharmacy/ University of Baghdad, conducted the competitive exam for applicants seeking admission to PhD and Master’s programs for the academic year 2025–2026. The exam was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, with the attendance of the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Munaf Hashim Abdulrazzaq. Both conducted an inspection tour covering several examination halls.
A total of 250 students participated in the competitive exam, competing for the Master’s and PhD programs, and were distributed across five lecture halls. The College made strong efforts to keep the exam environment quiet and comfortable, following all guidelines from the Ministry of Higher Education and the University.
Following the exam, applicant interviews were conducted by committees formed by the academic departments and headed by the department chair. The interviews included an assessment as one of the requirements for admission into the postgraduate programs.
