As part of the University of Baghdad’s ongoing efforts to strengthen academic engagement with international students, the College of Pharmacy, under the supervision of the Dean of the college,  Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kadhem Al-Khateeb, carried out a special inspection tour for its international students enrolled in the “Study in Iraq” program.

This initiative aims to enhance both academic and moral support for incoming students and reaffirms the university’s commitment to providing an inclusive and stimulating educational environment that meets global academic standards and addresses the needs of students from various countries.

The tour included direct meetings with students, listening to their feedback and needs, and offering guidance and advice to ensure a smooth and effective educational process. The students expressed their appreciation for this step, which reflects the College of Pharmacy’s and the University of Baghdad’s dedication to caring for their students, both internationally and locally.

This visit is part of a series of initiatives launched by the University of Baghdad to strengthen Iraq’s position as a scientific and academic hub that attracts international students, through the “Study in Iraq” program, which serves as an important platform for scientific and cultural cooperation between Iraq and countries around the world.

This activity also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which calls for quality education, and Goal 17, which focuses on partnerships for the goals.
