The University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy took part in the celebration organized by the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, held on September 25, 2025, and dedicated to honoring the scientific achievements of pharmacists who have obtained advanced degrees in pharmaceutical specialties.
The event was attended by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, accompanied by a number of faculty members from the college, along with specialized pharmacists, as well as academic, professional, union and health leaders.
The ceremony included the recognition of distinguished pharmacists whose contributions reflect the pioneering role of the profession in serving society and advancing healthcare.
The celebration concluded with an emphasis on the noble message of pharmacy that unites science and humanity and with a renewed commitment to continue the professional and academic journey in the service of human health.
