The researchers, pharmacist Mena Khalid Ibrahim, a Master’s student in the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Imad Mohammed, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, with the collaboration of Prof. Dr. Gheyath Abd Ali Shallal, from the college of Medicine/ Baghdad University, have published the results of their scientific research in one of the famous international journals ranked within the first quartile (Q1), known for its high impact factor and distinguished scientific reputation.
The study focused on exploring neurologists’ perspectives in Iraq regarding the challenges of managing Parkinson’s disease and the proposed strategies to mitigate them, through a qualitative study involving interviews with neurologists across multiple provinces. This work highlights critical healthcare gaps and offers practical recommendations to improve patient care and quality of life.
