Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the college welcomed the student Ghadi Haitham from the Syria, one of the postgraduate students accepted within the “Study in Iraq” program launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote academic cooperation and attract Arab and international students to study at Iraqi universities.
The student was greeted at Baghdad International Airport by Lecturer Dr. Ali Basim, Head of the Committee for International Students’ Affairs, and accompanied to the student dormitories within the Medical City, where all necessary arrangements were made to ensure her comfort and readiness prior to the start of her academic studies.
The college reaffirms its commitment to supporting international students and providing a stimulating educational environment that ensures them a distinguished academic experience within Iraq’s higher education programs.
