The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, held a meeting with Arab students enrolled in the “Study in Iraq” program, in the presence of Professor Dr. Munaf H. Abdulrazzaq, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, and Lecturer Dr. Ali Basim, Head of the Committee for the Follow-up of International Students’ Affairs.
Dr. Alkhateeb opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, in which he expressed the college’s pride in hosting Arab students within an academic environment that combines scientific excellence and cultural diversity. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to providing an encouraging and supportive educational atmosphere that ensures students an enriching and productive learning experience.
The meeting included general academic guidance and essential regulations related to attendance, research ethics, and campus conduct. It also featured an open dialogue with the students to listen to their comments and concerns, with a focus on finding suitable solutions that facilitate their academic progress.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the dean affirmed that the College of Pharmacy will continue to support Arab students from various countries, reflecting the University of Baghdad’s mission to promote Arab academic cooperation and build scientific and cultural bridges among nations.
