As a part of the ongoing collaboration among Iraqi universities, and with the aim of enhancing student activities and developing athletic skills, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad hosted the College of Political Science team from Al-Mustansiriyah University for joint training sessions in table tennis on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the College of Pharmacy’s sports hall.
This hosting aims to exchange athletic experiences among students and develop their physical and technical abilities in preparation for upcoming university tournaments. It also comes within the college’s plan to support extracurricular activities and foster a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition among students.
The training sessions were attended by several faculty and administrative members, as well as student activity supervisors, who praised the high level of performance demonstrated by the participants, emphasizing the importance of such events in strengthening ties between universities and creating a well-rounded student environment that combines academic excellence with athletic engagement.
The event concluded with an affirmation of continued collaboration between the two universities through the organization of friendly matches and future tournaments, contributing to the improvement of students’ athletic performance and promoting the role of university sports within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
