Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the College of Pharmacy hosted the university’s volleyball championship for both male and female students on Monday, 8/12/2025. The event was organized by the Student Activities Division at the College of Pharmacy, under the direct supervision of the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency, and was held in the presence of a large and enthusiastic audience. As part of this hosting event, the matches aimed to strengthen cooperation among the university’s colleges, foster positive interaction between students, and support extracurricular activities that promote teamwork, responsibility, and collaborative spirit.
The championship featured two exciting matches. In the final qualifiers for female students, the Ibn Al-Haytham College team faced the College of Media team in a highly competitive and spirited match. The Ibn Al-Haytham team managed to secure the win with two sets to one, advancing to the championship final.
In the final qualifiers for male students, the College of Education for Humanities Ibn Rushd team achieved an important victory over the Ibn Al-Haytham College team after an intense and competitive match, ending with two sets to one in favor of Ibn Rushd.
The matches were played in a vibrant sporting atmosphere marked by enthusiasm and mutual respect, truly reflecting the spirit of positive competition among the university’s colleges. The teams delivered impressive performances that demonstrated high sportsmanship, accompanied by strong support and encouragement from students and faculty, contributing to an engaging and supportive environment.
