The University of Baghdad’s College of Pharmacy planned an educational visit to the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center at Al-Kindi Teaching Hospital for a group of fourth-stage students – PharmD under the supervision of a number of Clinical Pharmacy Department professors. The visit entails determining the primary role of physicians in this center and the types of services provided to patients. It also included a tour of the center’s pharmacy to view the pharmacist’s job and function in this center. A number of students also participated in an awareness-raising process for a number of patients, including teaching them how to utilize insulin injections properly.
