A number of graduates from the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy participated in the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students, organized by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine as part of the sixth edition of the “On the Guidance of the Moon” cohort, on Thursday and Friday, December 11-12, 2025, in Karbala.

The college’s participation included six of its graduating students, within a delegation that included students from various colleges of Iraqi universities, in a spiritual and cultural atmosphere aimed at promoting ethical and humanitarian values and instilling principles of scientific and professional commitment inspired by the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The celebration was held under the slogan “From the Rain of Karbala, Giving Grows,” as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project. The program included a variety of religious and cultural activities, such as reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an and the national anthem, screening introductory videos, speeches by officials, performing the rituals of visiting the two shrines, and committing to the oath and responsibility toward the homeland and society.

This participation reflects the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to supporting activities that contribute to building the graduate’s personality on both scientific and human levels and encouraging students to participate in national and cultural events that enhance the spirit of responsibility and belonging to the community and the nation.
