Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Suhail Nasser, Head of the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Pharmacy / University of Baghdad, participated in the annual meeting of Continuing Education Unit Directors, which was held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Continuing Education Centre / University of Baghdad.
The meeting aimed to discuss several important topics, including supporting continuing education units across the university’s various departments through regular field visits and meetings with deans and academic assistants. The goal was to identify the main obstacles and challenges facing the units and to work towards finding appropriate solutions. In addition, the meeting addressed ways to improve the quality of training programs and provide a supportive organizational environment for developing skills and knowledge, in line with the university’s vision and mission.
In this context, approval was granted for the implementation of training activities required by the College of Pharmacy as part of its annual training programs, with the possibility of conducting certain activities outside the annual plan upon obtaining approval from the Centre. Also, the operational mechanism for the Continuing Education units was defined within a comprehensive procedures manual accompanied by important organizational forms. Moreover, emphasis was placed on the possibility of cooperation with other scientific and administrative units within the university, provided that these activities would be counted as part of the Continuing Education unit’s activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Continuing Education Centre commended the university’s various departments for their outstanding activities during 2025. The College of Pharmacy was among the distinguished colleges, noted for its unique training and development programs that contribute to serving the job market and keeping pace with modern scientific and technological advancements.
