Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, the College of Pharmacy/University of Baghdad hosted the Tennis Championship for male and female students on its courts on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10–11 February 2026, with the participation of colleges from the Bab Al-Moatham campus. The championship featured a distinguished competitive atmosphere that reflected cooperation and strong sportsmanship among the participating students. The results concluded with the male students of the College of Pharmacy securing first place in the men’s competition, while the female students of the College of Fine Arts achieved first place in the women’s competition, amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and encouragement. At the conclusion of the championship, the dean awarded prizes to the winning students, commending the efforts of the participants and organizing committees and reaffirming the college’s commitment to supporting sports activities that contribute to fostering teamwork and enhancing positive engagement among university students.
