Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, and under the supervision of the Volunteer Work Unit, a field visit was organized for the female students residing at Al-Taawon Complex, located within the Bab Al-Moatham Colleges Complex, on Monday, 23/2/2026, in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. The visit aimed to distribute (70) Ramadan food baskets as part of a voluntary campaign in which several faculty members and staff of the College participated, reaffirming the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility that characterizes the College community. The visit also included a meeting with the housing administration to assess the students’ needs and review their living conditions, reflecting the college’s ongoing commitment to supporting students residing in university housing complexes. The food baskets were distributed to students of the College of Pharmacy as well as students from other colleges in a humanitarian initiative that promotes unity and cooperation among all. This campaign is part of a broader series of initiatives implemented by the College to alleviate the financial burden on students amid current living challenges and to reinforce the values of community engagement and volunteerism.
The students expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for this generous visit, commending the college administration’s care and commitment to checking on their well-being and providing support during the blessed month of Ramadan.
