Under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, and under the supervision of the Director of the Volunteer Work Unit, Enasm Fuad Shakir, the University of Baghdad College of Pharmacy continued the implementation of the “Ramadan Food Basket” initiative through a visit to the internal dormitories at Al-Nasr Complex, in support of international students within the “Study in Iraq” program. This step comes as a continuation of the series of humanitarian initiatives launched by the College during the holy month of Ramadan to support students residing in university housing complexes, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring that all its students are included in initiatives of care and support without exception. The visit included the distribution of Ramadan food baskets to 10 students from the sister Arab Republic of Syria and the Republic of Yemen, in addition to checking on their well-being and identifying their needs.
The students expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation for this generous initiative, commending the college administration’s care and dedication to supporting them, especially during this blessed month in which the values of giving and humanity are most profoundly reflected.
